Launching Clipboard Task Pane Options by Opening Office Clipboard:

To open the Office Clipboard Task Pane, Do the Following;

  1. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click on the Office Clipboard Task Pane Arrow (Dialogue Launcher), which is at the bottom right corner of the Clipboard Group as shown in the picture below.
  2. Now the Clipboard Task pane dialogue box will open
  3. Afterwards, click on the “Options” which appears at the bottom left corner of Clipboard.

Show Clipboard Task Pane Automatically:

This is a default options of Office Clipboard. This option enables you to open the Office Clipboard Task Pane for seeing, clearing, and pasting the contents that you have cut or copied before. In the same time, when you uncheck this, the “Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl + C Pressed Twice” is enabled and vice versa.

Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl + C Pressed Twice:

This option enables when you click the “Show Office Clipboard Automatically”. When you press “Ctrl + C” or double-click on the “Copy” in the clipboard group, the Office Clipboard Task Pane opens automatically.

Collect Without Showing Clipboard Task Pane:

The clipboard collects all the items as many times as you can cut or copy the contents if the “Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard” is in selection. So, that means no need to open the Office Clipboard Task Pane to collect all the items. But, if you wish to paste all the items, must open the Office Clipboard Task Pane.

Show Office Clipboard Icon on Taskbar:

If this option is in the selection, you can see the Office Clipboard Icon on the right of the taskbar, which is at the bottom of the desktop. This icon helps you open the Office Clipboard Task Pane when it is clicked

Show Status Near Taskbar When Copying:

If this option is in the selection, you can see the status of the cut or copy of contents on the right of the taskbar, which is at the bottom of the desktop.
