Create a Bulleted and Numbered List in MS-Word

Create a Bulleted and Numbered List in MS-Word: Arranging a Word, Line or Sentence in a meaningful order to make them easier to read. Creating a Numbered and a Bulleted list in MS Word 2019 is the same as the Word 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016. These are discussed underneath the picture.

Creating a Bulleted List in MS-Word:

Creating a Bulleted List in MS-Word: Make the text easier to read by specifying each word/line/sentence with a bulleted list in your word document that you like. To start the bulleted list, follow the steps below the picture:

  1. Go to the Home tab
  2. Click on the drop-down arrow of the Bullets, which is the first option in the Paragraph group.
  3. Under the command “Bullet”, Select one of the options that you want to start the bulleted list
  4. Now the Bullet is being inserted into your word document to start its list
  5. After you insert the bullet, start typing the word/sentence that you want
  6. Then press the enter key to start the next bullet point. Do this in the same way to create the Bulleted List.
  7. To start the new section with a word, sentence or paragraph without a Bulleted list, strike the Enter key 2 times.

Creating a Numbered List in MS-Word: Make the text easier to read by specifying each word/line/sentence with a numbered list in your word document that you like. To start the bulleted list, follow the steps below the picture:

  1. Go to the Home tab
  2. Click on the drop-down arrow of the Numbering, which is the second option in the Paragraph group.
  3. Under the command “Numbering”, Select one of the options that you want to start the numbered list
  4. Now the Number is being inserted into your word document to start its list.
  5. After you insert the number, start typing the word/sentence that you want, 
  6. Then press the enter key to start the next serial number. Do this in the same way to create the Number List.
  7. To start the new section with a word, sentence or paragraph without a Numbered list, strike the Enter key 2 times.
